NUS and NTU gain positions in global university survey

Both NUS and NTU gains 2 positions to 22nd and 39th respectively in this year’s GS World University Rankings.  NUS continues to be the top university in Asia, putting more distance between itself and the University of Hong Kong, which slipped 2 positions to 28. Teachers that inspire their children were awarded the President’s Award for Teachers this year.  The President’s Award for Teachers (PAT), introduced in 1998, gives recognises teachers who play an important part in moulding their charges. The award is presented annually by the President of the Republic of Singapore on Teachers’ Day.  Now in its 17th year, 61 teachers have since received the award.
